A business plan is a "road map" that will guide the future of the business.
Service Description
Duration: 3 day (21 hours) Language: English Conventional wisdom advises: “if you failed to plan, you have already planned to fail.” A business plan is a "road map" that will guide the future of the business. The best business plan is a document in continual change, reacting to the dynamic influence of the outside world on the business. A written business plan will give you confidence to consider changes in the business to remain competitive. With a written business plan in place, your business has a better than even chance of future success. The business plan should portray your business in a concise positive manner, whether it is intended for your bankers, investors, partners, lenders, and stakeholders. Evaluation committees often have limited time to review what you present, and would focus on the messages in the executive summary and financial statements to make their determination. That is why business plans should be based on sound in-depth research and analysis and well-written as effective communications document. This Course aims to empower participants to prepare, structure and write their business plan systematically like a book; with the title page first, followed by a table of contents. Following these two pages, the main parts of the plan normally appear in this order: executive summary, business mission statement, goals and objectives, background information, organizational matters, marketing plan, and financial plan. The Course explores the following subjects in depth: 1) Planning your Business Plan • The main story focus • Table of contents 2) Company Overview • Value, mission and objectives • Background information 3) Products and Services • Value propositions • Awards and accolades 4) Market Strategy • Customers segments and channels • The 4 P’s Model 5) Competition Analysis • Competitors’ Analysis • 5-Forces Model 6) Financial Overview • Balance sheet • Income and cash flow statements 7) Executive Summary • The Big Picture • Putting them together as a business 8) The Final Business Plan • Presentation and design • Focus
