Duration: 1 day (9 am – 5 pm) Classroom or Zoom (7 hrs.) Language: English In this VUCA world, it is crucially important for organizations and their people be able to learn, adapt and work together to overcome the current challenges and capture the abundant new opportunities ahead. Building communities is one of the most effective way which professionals and leaders in an organization can learn and share their common interest, concern and passion. It is a supportive network which benefits both the members and organization through enhancing collaboration, promoting exchange of information, best practices and knowledge. It also facilitates problem-solving and innovation at the workplace. In the one-day workshop, managers and leaders will learn the latest techniques to build different communities for their organizations. Through a step-by-step guide, they will understand the benefit of community, how to set and establish the culture of community, ways to create learning content, etc. They will also learn how to engage the members and moderate learning in the communities. Members can join these communities to learn and enjoy the benefits of being part of a community. The workshop includes useful hand-ons and practical coaching with lots of tips from real industrial experience by Steven Koh, an experienced community builder who has built many communities. At the end of the session, the participants will take away a useful guide with a set of templates to build their communities. Target Audience: Managers and leaders who are keen to build a vibrant community at their workplace.
